Minimum qualifications:
HS graduate; some college preferred; previous reception or office management experience preferred. 

Wage:
Starting pay is $14-16 hr DOE, with wage increases based upon performance and proficiency. Part-time from 12-4pm, some flexibility is available on hours, and some work from home options available.   
 

Essential Roles:

Answering phones; answering/writing emails; taking and relaying messages; preparing and processing documents and invoices; scheduling for the doctor, staff and patients; overseeing accounts; proofreading various documents for accuracy; performing initial consultations to help prospective patients understand the services we provide and clinic policies; ensuring HIPPA compliance (we will provide training); learning our user-friendly patient portal and at times assisting our patients in using it if the need arises; helping connect patients to their treatment protocols in the patient portal; other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge and skills: 

Excellent use of grammar, spelling and punctuation. 
Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel. 

Abilities:
Ability to be kind and understanding towards patients, and participate in fostering a nurturing culture in our workplace.
Confidently and professionally communicating with people you don’t know in person and over the phone. 

Willingness to be trained on OptiMantra, our patient portal, to manage the health records, communication, and invoicing.
Be able to problem solve various needs that may arise.
Be able to give and receive feedback for improving efficiency in the office.

Possible expansion of Job duties in the future may include:
Community outreach to bring awareness to our clinic
Looking into financial assistance opportunities for lower-income patients
A role in marketing for the clinic
